Bank of America ?s chief executive, Kenneth D. Lewis, testified Thursday before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, which is looking into his bank?s acquisition of Merrill Lynch . Mr. Lewis told lawmakers that he was pressured by the government to complete the deal.
